Yesterday, Artie the Artichoke (the school mascot where I work) was interviewed by Bill Geist from the Morning Show on CBS. They came to my school a few weeks ago and did a whole segment on him. Very exciting! I work in the Administration Department with Dr. DeCabooter, the president of the school. It was neat to see them here on campus interviewing Dr. DeCabooter and Artie! Andy and I both are proud to be Fighting Artichokes!

Scottsdale Community College hired editorial cartoonist Brian Fairington recently to toughen up Artie’s image a bit - give him an artichoke make-over.
The story is to air tonight during the CBS News/Katie Couric broadcast before the start of the NCAA college final playoff. Another moment of fame for Artie!
